Guiges VII 'le Gros' Count of Albon and Grenoble was born about 1025.1   Guiges VII 'le Gros' Count of Albon and Grenoble's father was Guiges VI 'the Old' Count of Albon and Grenoble and his mother was Adelaide (Alix) Beaujeu.  His paternal grandparents were Guiges V Count of Albon, Sire de Vion and Gotelena; his maternal grandparents were Guichard I Sire de Beaujeu and Adelaide.  He was an only child.  He died on April 22nd, 1075.  He was buried in St. Robert.1
