His paternal grandparents were Hugues Magnus Duke of FRANCE and Hedwige Von Saxe Princess of The Germans; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume III (I) Duke of Aquitaine and Adaile (Gerioc) of Normandy. He had three sisters named Adwige Princess of, Gisele and Adele Capet of. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 59 on July 20th, 1031 in Melun France.1 General Notes
