Matilda Elliott 
Matilda was born on July 3rd, 1838. Matilda's father was Augustine Elliott and her mother was Sarah Kercheval. Her paternal grandparents were William Powell Elliott and Elizabeth Elliott; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Kercheval and Nancy Pound. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, William Kercheval, Robert Charles, Martha Jane, Julia Ann and Sarah Ellen. She was the second oldest of the seven children.-
