*Ealdgyth's father was *AElfgarEarl of Mercia and her mother was *Aelfgifu. Her paternal grandparents were *Leofric Earl of Mercia and Lady *Godiva\Godgifu. She had two brothers and a sister, named Earl of Mercia, Earl of Northumberland and Burgheard.
*Ealdgyth and *Gruffydd , Prince of Deheubarth were married in a religious ceremony about 1050. They had two sons and a daughter, named Ithell, Maredudd , King of Powys and *Nest Ferch.
*Ealdgyth and Harold II , King of England were married in a religious ceremony about 1064 in York,ENG. They had a son named Harold.
