Irene Ducena

Irene was born about 1065.  Irene's father was Andronicus Dukas and her mother was Mary.  Her maternal grandfather was Trajan.  She was an only child.

‌Irene and Alexius were married in a religious ceremony in 1078.  They had a son named John II.
