Anna Dewees 
Anna was born in 1766 in Kent County,Delaware. Anna's father was Joshua Dewees and her mother was Elizabeth Bowman. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Dewees and Mary Coburn; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Bowman and Sarah Clark. She had three brothers named Thomas, Lewis and Samuel. She was the oldest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, James, Jethro, Joshua, Elizabeth and Mary. She died about 1790.-
