William De Meshines

William was born in 1100 in Gernon Castle Normandy France.¹   William's father was Ranulph De Briqueeart Le Meshines Earl of Cheste and his mother was Lucy Countess of Chester Taillebois. He had a brother and two sisters, named Ranulph De Gernon, Alice Adeliza and Alice De Gernon.  He was the second youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 90 in 1190.¹ 

They had two daughters named Alice and Maud.
