Gideon DURFEE

Gideon was born on January 15th, 1704 in Portsmouth,Newport,RI. Gideon's father was Thomas DURFEE and his mother was Ann FREEBORN. His paternal grandparents were Thomas DURFEE and Mrs Thomas DURFEE; his maternal grandparents were Gideon FREEBORN and Sarah BROWNELL. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Freeborn, Job, Thomas, Ann, Sarah Ann, Patience, Mary, Martha, Susanna and Elizabeth. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 62 on May 5th, 1766 in Portsmouth,Newport,RI.
