Jean Clark

Jean was born on May 19th, 1769 in Tranent,East Lothian,Scotland.  Jean's father was John Hesher Clark and her mother was Helen KEPPIE.  Her paternal grandparents were James CLARK or CLERK and Alison CLAPPERTON. She had seven brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Peter, James, James, John, John, William, Thomas, Elizabeth, Helen, Alison, Janet, Agnes and Katharine.  She was the seventh oldest of the fourteen children.
