*William I was born in 1159 in Reading,Bucks,,England. *William I's father was *Walter II Cantilupe. His paternal grandfather was *Walter I Cantilupe. He was an only child. He died at the age of 80 on April 7th, 1239.
*William I and *Mecelin were married in a religious ceremony in 1184. They had a son named *William II.
