Caleb CHAPIN 
Caleb was born on May 29th, 1701 in Springfield,Hampden,MA. Caleb's father was Samuel CHAPIN and his mother was Hannah SHELDON. His paternal grandparents were Japhet CHAPIN and Abilene Or Abidenah COOLEY; his maternal grandparents were Isaac SHELDON and Mary WOODFORD. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, Elisha, Henry, Hannah, Abilenah, Mary, Experience and Lydia. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
