Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Burry 2 and Mary Ann Carr. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Albert, Alfred, Leonard, Louis Nelson, Annie Laura, Emily Alfarett, Sarah Jane, Florence Prisella, Leona and Twin.
