Benjamin Brashears 
Benjamin was born in 1647 in Calvert County,Maryland. Benjamin's father was Benjamin Brashears and his mother was Mary Jones. His paternal grandparents were Robert Brassieur and Elizabeth Fowke; his maternal grandparents were William Jones and Dorothy Cager. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Robert, John, Mary, Ann, Elizabeth, Susannah and Martha. He was the second oldest of the eight children.-
