John Stevens 
John was born in 1734. John's father was James Edward Stevens and his mother was Elizabeth Thomas. His paternal grandparents were Edward Stevens and Martha Elizabeth Lane; his maternal grandparents were John Thomas and Katherine Harrison. He had a brother and three sisters, named James, Ann, Elizabeth and Mary. He died at the age of 92 on August 28th, 1826 in Orange County, Virginia.
John and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on October 28th, 1756 in Orange County, Virginia. They had four sons and three daughters, named William, James, John Jr., William, Nancy, Elizabeth and Sally.
