Jean Alexis Pothier 
Jean Alexis was born on December 8th, 1690 in Montreal.1 Jean Alexis' father was Jean Baptiste Pothier and his mother was Marie Etienette Beauvais. His paternal grandparents were Jean Pothier and Marguerite De Xaintes Saniles; his maternal grandparents were Jacques Beauvais Dit St Jeme and Jeanne Solde. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Guillaume, Joseph Maire, Jean-Baptiste, Michel, Marie Louise, Marie Barbie, Marie Catherine, Marie Louise, Unnamed, Jeanne Marguerite, Marie-Madeleine and Marie Francoise. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He died at just 8 days old on December 16th, 1690 in Montreal.1 -
