Turulf Of was born about 0949 in Pont-Audemer, Normandy, France.  Turulf Of's father was Torf De Harcourt and his mother was Ertemberge De Brioguebec.  His paternal grandparents were Bernard De Harcourt and Sprote De Bourgogne; his maternal grandfather was Lancelot De Brioguebec. He had a brother named Turchetil.  He was the older of the two children.  He was buried in Preaux, Normandy, France.

They had a son named Humphrey.
