Michel Poirier

Michel was born in 1651 in Port Royal, Cape Breton, Richmond, Nova Scotia.¹   Michel's father was Jehan Poirier and his mother was Jeanne Chabrat.  He was an only child.

‌Michel and Marie were married in a religious ceremony in 1670 in Port Royal, N.E..¹   They had nine sons and two daughters, named Jean Baptiste, Pierre, Charles, Claude, Francois, Jacques, Michel, Joseph, Louis, Anne and Jeanne.
