Marie-Francoise was born about 1678 in Probably Region Of Batiscan, Quebec Province, Canada.1 Marie-Francoise's father was Francois Dessureaux Dit Laplante and her mother was Marie Bouart. Her paternal grandparents were Jean Dessureault and Anne Poraux; her maternal grandparents were Francois Bouart and Jacquette Bilaude. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Francois, Jean Baptiste, Marie, Marie Catherine and Madeleine. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had a half-sister named Marie Anne. She died on July 15th, 1758 in Ste-Geneviève-DE-Berthier, Cté Berthier.-
