dedi II of Lausnitz was born in 1012. Dedi II of Lausnitz's father was Graf Dietrich II of Hesse and his mother was Mathilda of Miessen. His paternal grandparents were Graf dedi I of North Hesse and Tetburge of Haldensleben; his maternal grandparents were Markgraf Ekkhard I of Meissen and Suanhildeof Sachsen. He had a brother named Thimo of Wettin. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 63 in October 1075.-
