Albert I, the Pious was born about 0915. Albert I, the Pious' father was Herbert II deVermandois and his mother was Liegarde of France. His paternal grandparents were Count Herbert I deVermandois and Miss, Princess Of France [Countess of Vermandois]; his maternal grandparents were Robert I King Of France Count of Paris and Béatrice de Vermandois Queen of France. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Herbert, Adela and Ledgarde. He had a half-sister named Luitgarde. He died in 0978.General Notes
