Hugh deTalbot 
Hugh was born in 1070 in Normandy, France. Hugh's father was Richard Talbot and his mother was Aimee deAlbini. His paternal grandparents were William Talbot and Basilia de Flaitel; his maternal grandparents were Viscount William D'Aubigny and Adelica Belvoir dePlessis. He was an only child. He died at the age of 50 in 1120.General Notes
was made Castellan (Governor) of Plesses, in Normandy, by his cousin,Hugh de Gournay, in 1119. He was a benefactor of the monastery ofBeaubec, in Normandy, and in the decline of life, assumed the cowl there.He married Beatrice, daughter of William de Mandeville, who was divorcedfrom him and married William de Say, and Hugh became a monk.
