Count William I (Towhead) dePoitou 
William I, known as Towhead, was born in 0915. Towhead's father was Ebalus Manzer the Bastard Count of Poitou and his mother was Emiliane de Poitou. His paternal grandparents were Ramnulf II Count of Poitou and Irmgard de Poitou. He had two brothers named William I "Towhead" Count of and William I "Towhead" Count of. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 48 on April 3rd, 0963.General Notes
William was also the Count of Auvergne, Velay, Limousin and the Duke ofAquitaine.
