Simon I de Montfort , Seigneur of Montfort Amauri

Simon I was born about 1026 in Montfort,Normandy.  Simon I's father was Amaury II deMontfort , Seigneur of Montfort and his mother was Bertrade de Gommetz. He had a brother named Simon I.  He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-brother named Simon I.  He died in 1087.

‌Simon I and Isabel were married in a religious ceremony in 1055.  They had a daughter named Isobel.

They had a son and a daughter, named Amaury IV and Bertgrade.
