Milo's father was Josceline deCourtenay and his mother was Isabel deMontlhery.  His paternal grandfather was Athon deCourtenay; his maternal grandparents were Guy I deMontlhery and Hodierna deGommetz.  He was an only child.

They had a son named Renaud (Reginald).
