Gerrit Westerfield

Gerrit was born in 1724 in Schraalenburg, Nj. Gerrit's father was Jan Lubbertse Westerfield and his mother was Dirckie Huybertse Blauvelt. His paternal grandparents were Lubbert Westerfield Jr. and Hilletje Pouluse. He had a brother and four sisters, named Jacobus "James", Hillena, Elena, Maritie and Sara. He was the second youngest of the six children.
