Ecgbert III was born in 0775 in Wessex, England. Ecgbert III's father was King Ealhmund Kent and his mother was N Von Kent. His paternal grandfather was Eaba. He was an only child. He died at the age of 64 in 0839.General Notes
In 825 Egbert annexed Kent, Surrey, Essex and Sussex. In 829 Mercia fellto Egbert and Northumbria soon acknowledged his lordship.
