Earl Sir Hugh Vere 
Hugh was born about 1184 in Hatsfield, Essx, England.. Hugh's father was Earl Robert of Oxford Vere and his mother was Isabel Bolebec. His paternal grandparents were Earl Aubrey Vere and Agnes (Lucia) Essex; his maternal grandparents were Sir Hughes II Bolebec and Theopharcia Baliol. He was an only child.
