Alfonso VIII Sanchez King of Castile 
Alfonso VIII was born on November 11th, 1155 in Soria, Spain. Alfonso VIII's father was III Sancho and his mother was Blanche Garcia Princess of Navarre. His paternal grandparents were Alfonso VII of Castile King of Castile and Berengaria of Barcelona. He was an only child. He died at the age of 58 on October 6th, 1214 in Gotierre Munoz, Avila, Spain.
Alfonso VIII and Eleanor were married in a religious ceremony in September 1177. They had two daughters named Blanche of and Berengaria Alfonsez.
