Rotrou I of Chateaudun Montague was born about 1014. Rotrou I of Chateaudun Montague's father was Ct. Geoffroi I of Mortaigne and his mother was Heloise Hervise of Montague. His paternal grandparents were Visc Geoffroi II of Chateaudun and Melesinde; his maternal grandfather was Ct. Fulbert of Montague. He was an only child. He died in 1079.General Notes
