Gwladys Verch was born about 1041 in Powysland,Wales. Gwladys Verch's father was Prince Rhiwallon ap Cynfyn. Her paternal grandparents were Cynfyn ap Gwerystan and Angharad verch Maredudd. She had a sister named Beatrice Gladys Verch. She was the younger of the two children. Gwladys Verch is no longer alive.General Notes

Her marriage to Walter Fitz Other is indicated in many sources.However it is not backed by Burke's Peerage. Additionally her daughter Nesta is documented to be the wife of Walter's son Gerald Fitz Walter which would not have been likely if Gerald's mother were Gwladus. She may have been mother of some of Walter's children, instead of Beatrice.
They had a son and a daughter, named Gruffydd Ap and Nesta Verch.
