Eleanor of was born in 1217. Eleanor of's father was Raymond Berenger IV and her mother was Beatrice deSavoie. Her paternal grandparents were Alfonso II, Prince of Aragon and Gersende de Sabran; her maternal grandparents were Thomas, Count of Savoy deMaurienne and Beatrix of Geneva. She had a sister named Marguerite. She died at the age of 74 in 1291.
