Otto I was born on November 23rd, 0912 in Saxony, Germany.  Otto I's father was Heinrich I "The Fowler" King Of The Germans and his mother was Matilda Countess Of Ringleheim.  His paternal grandparents were Duke Otto Duke Of Saxony and Empress Hedwige; his maternal grandparents were Count Theodoric deRingelheim and Princess Ludmilla Ragnhildis. He had a brother and two sisters, named The Quarrelsome, Gerberge Princess of and Hedwig.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers named Henry "The Quarrelsome" I Duke of and Bruno I Archbishop Of.  He died at the age of 60 on May 7th, 0973 in Memleben, Saxony, Germany.
