Osberne of Crepon was born about 0990 in , Normandy, France. Osberne of Crepon's father was Herfast of Crepon. His paternal grandparents were King Harald II Gormsson of denmark (Bluetooth) and Gunhilda Olafsdatter. He had three sisters named Aveline of Crepon, of Crepon and Weva of Crepon.
