Oda's father was Otto The Illustrious Of Saxony and her mother was Hedwige.  Her paternal grandparents were Liudolf Of Saxony and Oda Of Saxony. She had three brothers named Henry The Fowler, Thangmar and Liudulf. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Henry The Fowler, Henry The Fowler, Liudulf and Oda.
