Gonzelon I Duke of was born about 0957 in Verdun,Meuse,France. Gonzelon I Duke of's father was Count Godefroy de Ardenne and his mother was Princess MathildeVon Sachsen. His maternal grandparents were Duke Hermann Billung and Hildegarde De Westerburg. He had three sisters named Bonne Adelaide, Bonne AdelaideDuchess Of and Adelaide. He was the youngest of the four children. He had three half-brothers named Arnold II Count Of, Arnolph II of and Jean. He died on April 19th, 1044.
