His paternal grandparents were Raymond Count Of Burgundy and Urraca Queen Of Castile & Leon; his maternal grandparents were Raymond IV Count Of Barcelona Berenger and Dulce Aldonza Countess Milhaud. He had a brother and two sisters, named Sancho III Alfonsez, Constance and Beatrice Sancha Princess. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had a half-sister named Sanchia Castile. He died at the age of 51 in 1188.-
