Strangeman was born in 1707 in Henrico Co., Henrico, Va. Strangeman's father was Nicholas Hutchins and his mother was Mary Watkins. His paternal grandfather was Nicholas? Hutchins; his maternal grandparents were Henry II Watkins Jr. and Mary Crispe. He was an only child. He died at the age of 85 on February 10th, 1792 in Yadkin, Surry Co. n.C..General Notes
A Quaker family. I have a copy of his will dated 29th day of the 11th month,1791.Recorded Jul y 1792. His name is spelled in this will as : " Hutchens ".Some records show his name as: Hutchins /or/ Hutchings. Death: Deep River MM: died Deep Creek 2-10-1792 in 85 years.
