Angharad verch was born about 1245 in Bromfield, Ludlow, Shropshire, England. Angharad verch's father was Gruffudd ap Madog and her mother was Emma de Audley. Her paternal grandparents were Madog ap Gruffudd and Gwladus verch Ithel; her maternal grandparents were Henry de Audley and Bertrade(Bertred) de Mainwaring. She was an only child. She died after June 22nd, 1308.General Notes
He [William le Botiler] married, after 2 October 1261, Angharad, daughter of Griffith ap Madoc ap Griffith Maelor, Lord of Bromfield, Dinas Bran and Yale (now co. Denbigh), i.e. of Lower Powis, by Emma, daughter of Henry AUDLEY, of Heleigh, co. Stafford. He died shortly before 11 December 1283.
