His paternal grandparents were William Greystoke Baron of Greystoke 4th and Joane Fitz Hugh; his maternal grandfather was Roger Clifford Lord Clifford. He had a sister named Maude. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 47 in 1436.-
