His paternal grandparents were Thurstan Le Goz Vicomte d'Hiesmer and Judith De Monterolier. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Turstin Of, Hugh 'The Fat' D', Albreda D', Judith (le Goz) D', Maud (Margaret) D' and Arbella Loup D'.
