Geoffroi I of Mayenne's father was Aubert and his mother was Melesindeof Mayenne.  His paternal grandfather was Geslin; his maternal grandparents were Ruellan of Mayenne and Auvert.  He was an only child.  He died in 0980.

They had a son named Juhel I of Mayenne.
