Col. Richard Dudley 
Richard was born in 1623. Richard's father was Edward Dudley and his mother was Elizabeth Pritchard. He had a brother named Robert. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 64 in 1687.General Notes

1657 was Sheriff of Gloucester Co. VA.
1679 was appointed Colonel of Militia Gloucester Co. VA.

Settled in Gloucester County, VA;
Was High Sheriff in 1675 and Col of Militia.
He married Mary SEWELL, daughter of Richard SEWELL & Mary DUGDALE, Before 11 Aug 1642 in England. Born Circa 1616 in Coventry, England.

They had a son named Ambrose.

Ambrose was born in 1649 in Norfolk, Va. He died after 1712 in Kingston, Gloucester, Va.
