King Duncan, known as Duncan The First, was born in 1005 in Scotland. Duncan The First's father was Crinan Albanah Thane of Albanah (Abbot of Dunkeld) Canmore and his mother was princess Beatrice (Bethroe) (Beatrix). His paternal grandparents were Mormaer (Count of Mormaer) Duncan and De Isles; his maternal grandfather was Malcolm II MacKenneth. He had two siblings of unknown gender named Cospatrie and Maldred. He died at the age of 35 on August 14th, 1040.-
