Amasa DUTTON

Amasa was born on July 31st, 1747 in Wallingford, New Haven, CT.  Amasa's father was Thomas DUTTON and his mother was Abagail MERRIMAN.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph DUTTON and Mary SMITH; his maternal grandparents were John MERRIMAN and Rebecca SHARP. He had a brother named Amasa.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 84 on September 30th, 1831 in Royalton, Windsor, VT.

‌Amasa and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on October 1st, 1766.  They had a son named Benjamin.
