Dirk BANTA (BONTE)

Dirk was born in 1655 in Minnertsga , Friesland, Holland.¹ Dirk's father was Epke Jacobse BANTA (BONTE) and his mother was Sitske Dircksdr. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Epkese and Reytske Sickedr. He had four brothers named Cornelius, Seba Epkese, Hendrick and Wiert. He was the second youngest of the five children.
