John Mar

John was born about 1159.  John's father was Morgund Mar and his mother was Agnes Mar.  His paternal grandparents were Gillocher Mar and Mrs Gillocher Mar. He had four brothers named Malcolm, James, Duncan and David.  He was the youngest of the five children.
