Hugh VI "The Fair" Sire De was born in 1039 in Lusignan,Vienne,France.  Hugh VI "The Fair" Sire De's father was Hugh "The Brown" Lusignan and his mother was Almodis de la Haute-Marche.  His paternal grandparents were Hugh "The Blane" De Lusignan and Amelia (Aldearde) De Thouars; his maternal grandparents were Bernard I Count De La Marche and Amelie Aubnay. He had a sister named Milesinde De. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William IV, Raymond IV (Count Of St Giles), Hugh Vi Le Diable, Raymond Berenguer II (III) Count of, Ponce, Alemode Of and Garsinde de.  He died at the age of 71 in 1110.
