Halfdan was born in 0775 in Denmark. Halfdan's father was Harold Eysteinsson and his mother was Emhild of Engern. His paternal grandparents were Eysteinn "Frat" Halfdansson King In Vestfold and Hilda Ericsdotter Vestfold; his maternal grandparents were Werniche Saxony and Kunhilde von Rugen. He was an only child. He died at the age of 35 in 0810 in Battle of Walcheran.General Notes
