Gwerystan ap Gwaethfoed

Gwerystan ap was born about 0950 in ,Powysland,Wales.  Gwerystan ap's father was Gwaithfoed "Fawr" ap Gwrydr and his mother was Morfydd Verch Ynyr.  His paternal grandfather was Gwrydr "Hir" ap Caradog; his maternal grandparents were UNKNOWN Ynyr and Joyce Baladon. He had four brothers named Mydhhan ap, Gwrgeni ap, Rhys ap and Neiniad Ap.  He was the oldest of the five children.

They had two sons and two daughters, named Ithel ap, Cynfyn ap, Elinor and Lleicu Verch.
