Adeline was born in 0953 in Normandy. Adeline's father was Thurston or Hugh II De Montfort and her mother was Juliane De Murdac. Her paternal grandparents were Anslec De Bertrand and Countess of Beulac Helloe; her maternal grandfather was Geoffrey Murdac. She had a brother and a sister, named Hugh I and Gisele. She was the oldest of the three children.General Notes

Archives, Inc., Banner Blue Software, 1994, Adeline de
Montfort, daughter of Thurstan de Montfort, is given as the wife
of Turchetil and mother of Lesceline de Turqueville. However,
Stuart, in Royalty for Commoners, 3rd ed., 1998, gives her to be
Anceline de Montfort-sur-Risle, daughter of Hugh II, Sire de
Montfort, and I have changed my records accordingly.
I wish I was sure of every name in this file & that I didnt
